On-Page SEOThe fundamentals, done properly. We optimise what is on your pages — titles, headings, content depth, internal links — so every page clearly targets one keyword and gives searchers exactly what they want.
Before links, before technical wizardry — Google reads your page. If your title does not contain the keyword, your headings ramble, your content is thinner than the competition, and nothing links to the page internally, no amount of off-page work will save it.
Our on-page SEO work is delivered from our Manchester studio at 174 Wilmslow Road for businesses across the UK. We review your key pages against the top-ranking competitors and rebuild them around search intent.
This is unglamorous work that moves rankings. Most sites we audit have titles written for humans that ignore keywords, H1s duplicated across pages, and their best pages buried three clicks deep with no internal links pointing at them.
Click-worthy titles with the keyword placed for maximum ranking and CTR impact.
One H1 per page, logical H2/H3 hierarchy that mirrors what searchers ask.
Gap analysis against top-ranking pages — what they cover that you do not.
Making sure the page type matches what the SERP rewards: product, guide, comparison or list.
Strategic links from authority pages to the pages you want to rank.
Alt text, filenames, compression and lazy loading for image search and speed.
Article, FAQ, product and breadcrumb schema where it earns rich results.
Short, keyword-led URLs without dates, parameters or keyword stuffing.
One primary keyword per page — no cannibalisation, no orphans.
What the top results do that your pages do not.
New titles, headings, intro and content depth — briefed or written by us.
Wire the pages into your site architecture properly.
Markup, images and URL checks on every optimised page.
Track ranking movement per page and iterate.
Titles written for branding, not search. "Welcome to Acme" tells Google nothing. Your title is the single strongest on-page signal — it needs the keyword, the differentiator and a reason to click, in about 60 characters.
Five pages targeting one keyword. Keyword cannibalisation is everywhere: blog posts, category pages and service pages all chasing the same term, splitting authority so none of them rank. One keyword, one page, properly linked.
Content that answers the wrong question. If the top results for your keyword are buying guides and your page is a 300-word service blurb, you will not rank no matter how many links you build. Intent match comes first.
Orphaned money pages. Your most commercial pages often have the fewest internal links pointing at them, because nobody thinks to link from blog content to service pages. We fix the internal link graph deliberately.

On-page SEO is optimising the content and HTML of your pages: titles, headings, content depth, internal links, images and schema — everything Google reads on the page itself.
Per-page optimisation is typically quoted by page count and depth. Full-site on-page projects start around £1,500 — see our UK SEO pricing guide.
Google typically reflects on-page changes within 2 to 6 weeks after recrawling, depending on the page authority and crawl frequency.
We can rewrite fully, provide detailed briefs for your writers, or edit your drafts. Most clients mix all three.
When multiple pages on your site target the same keyword, they compete with each other and none ranks well. We map one keyword per page and consolidate where needed.
The initial optimisation is one-off per page, but new pages need the same treatment and competitors keep improving — so it works best as part of ongoing SEO.
