Overview

Software Built for How You Operate

Application development is building software that does a specific job for your business or your customers: a web app your staff run the business from, a mobile app your customers use, a portal that replaces email back-and-forth, or a SaaS product you sell.

We are a Manchester development team that has built and runs its own products, which shapes how we work for clients. Our platforms include a security workforce system with a Flutter mobile app and geofenced check-in, an online Qur'an academy with a live video classroom, a driving school booking platform, and an AI tool for Etsy sellers. We know what it takes to keep software working after launch, not just to ship it.

That experience covers the parts that make or break an app in practice: authentication and roles, real-time features, offline support for field staff, payments, integrations with the systems you already use, and the admin tooling your team needs to run it.

What we build

Apps for the Web, iOS and Android

Custom web applications

Browser-based software for running your operations, from dashboards to multi-step workflows.

Mobile apps for iOS and Android

Cross-platform apps built with Flutter, so one codebase serves both platforms.

SaaS platforms

Multi-tenant products with sign-up, subscriptions and per-customer data separation.

Customer and staff portals

Secure areas where customers self-serve and staff get the tools they need.

Real-time features

Live video, chat, live location and instant updates where the job needs them.

Field and offline apps

Apps that keep working with poor signal and sync when they reconnect.

APIs and integrations

Connecting payments, accounting, maps, messaging and your existing systems.

Maintenance and support

Updates, monitoring, security patches and new features after launch.

How we work

From Idea to App Store

  1. Discovery

We work out who the app is for, the job it has to do, and what the first version must include.

  2. Design and prototype

Clickable designs tested with real users before any code is written.

  3. Build in stages

Working software in short cycles, so you see progress and can change direction early.

  4. Test on real devices

Testing across devices, connection conditions and user roles.

  5. Launch

Deployment to the web, and submission to the App Store and Google Play for mobile apps.

  6. Support and grow

Monitoring, fixes and new features as your users tell you what they need.

Choosing an approach

Web App, Mobile App or Both?

Not every idea needs a mobile app. A well-built web application works on any device, updates instantly with no app store approval, and is often the faster, cheaper place to start. We will recommend it when it fits.

A mobile app earns its place when users need it on the move: field staff checking in on site, customers who use it frequently, features that rely on the camera, GPS or push notifications, or work that has to continue without a signal. For most of these we use Flutter, which gives native performance on iOS and Android from a single codebase.

Many businesses need both: a web app for the office and a mobile app for people out in the field, sharing the same data. Our S4 security platform is built exactly this way, with a web dashboard for the company and a Flutter app for guards.

We build for what happens after launch. That means clean architecture you can extend, automated checks, clear documentation, sensible hosting, and security practices such as role-based access, encrypted connections and audit logging where the data calls for it.

Based in Manchester, we work with businesses across the UK, and pair app builds with CRM development, AI automation and WebAR where it makes sense.

Questions

Frequently Asked

How much does app development cost?

It depends on the platforms, features and integrations involved, so we quote after a discovery conversation. Starting with a focused first version keeps the initial cost down and gets real feedback sooner.

How long does it take to build an app?

A focused first version usually takes a few months; smaller web tools can be quicker and larger platforms longer. We agree scope and milestones before starting.

Do you build for both iOS and Android?

Yes. We typically use Flutter, which delivers apps for both platforms from one codebase with native performance.

Should I build a web app or a mobile app?

A web app is often the best starting point. A mobile app makes sense when users need it on the move, rely on the camera, GPS or push notifications, or need to work offline. We will recommend the right fit for your case.

Do you handle App Store and Google Play submission?

Yes. We prepare the store listings and handle submission, working with your developer accounts so the apps are published under your business.

Who owns the app once it is built?

You do. You own the code we write for you and your data.
