Shopify SEO AgencyA Shopify SEO agency that builds Shopify stores as well as ranking them. We fix the Shopify-specific problems that hold stores back and grow organic sales from Google, from our studio in Manchester.
Shopify SEO is optimising a Shopify store around the way the platform creates pages, URLs and templates, so collections and products rank for the searches shoppers make before they buy.
Shopify handles hosting and security well, but it creates SEO problems of its own: product pages reachable through several URLs, fixed URL structures, apps that slow pages down, and themes that bury content below images.
Because we develop Shopify stores, we can change themes, templates and settings directly rather than handing over a list of recommendations. That is the difference between a Shopify SEO report and Shopify SEO results.
Titles, intro copy, filters and internal links for the pages that win most category searches.
Unique descriptions, specifications, image alt text and FAQs instead of copied manufacturer text.
Canonical and internal linking fixes for products reachable through collection paths.
Headings, content placement and structured data corrected in the theme itself.
Unused apps and scripts removed so pages load quickly on mobile.
Structured data that matches what shoppers see on the page.
Content that answers pre-purchase questions and links to the right collections.
Redirects and content mapping when moving from WooCommerce, Magento or another platform.
Crawl the store for duplicates, speed issues, thin pages and theme problems.
Map shopper searches to collections and products, and spot missing collections.
Theme, canonical, schema and app changes made in the store.
Rewrite priority pages for shoppers and search.
Earn links from relevant publications, suppliers and gift guides.
Track organic sessions and organic revenue in GA4 and Shopify.
Duplicate product URLs. Shopify can show the same product at more than one URL when it is reached through a collection. Themes should link to the main product URL so Google consolidates signals on one page.
Thin collection pages. Many collections are just a product grid with no text. A short, useful introduction and clear subcategory links often lift rankings for a whole category.
App bloat. Every app that injects scripts adds weight. Removing apps that are no longer used, or replacing them with theme code, is one of the quickest speed gains on Shopify.
Fixed URL structure. Shopify prefixes URLs with /products/ and /collections/. That is fine for rankings; what matters is clean internal linking, unique content and correct redirects when handles change.
