SEO MigrationChange your site without losing your rankings. We manage the SEO side of redesigns, platform moves and domain changes for businesses in the UAE — redirect maps, pre-launch checks and post-launch monitoring — so traffic survives the switch.
Most organic traffic loss happens during site changes, not algorithm updates. A redesign launches, URLs change without redirects, the new templates drop the H1s and internal links, and three months later someone notices traffic is down 40%. We see it constantly.
We run migration SEO for businesses in the UAE from our UK studio, working remotely alongside your developers and designers from planning through to post-launch. We own the SEO checklist so nothing gets missed in the rush to go live — including the local pitfalls generic checklists miss.
The UAE version of those pitfalls is very specific: multi-currency setups where the AED pricing and 5% VAT configuration silently breaks on replatform, free-zone targeting pages (DIFC, DMCC, RAKEZ) that get dropped as "duplicate content", bilingual English/Arabic templates where the Arabic side ships broken, and Tabby and Tamara checkout integrations that fail without a visible error. And timing matters — migrating in the run-up to Ramadan means recovering during your peak trading window. We benchmark everything before, map every URL, QA staging like Google would, then watch Search Console daily after launch.

Multi-currency and VAT config breaks on replatforms. UAE stores commonly run AED pricing with 5% VAT baked into schema and multi-currency for tourists and expats. New platforms ship with default tax settings, and we have seen VAT-inclusive prices suddenly render exclusive — or in the wrong currency — after launch. Google reads your price schema; customers read your checkout. We verify both.
Free-zone targeting pages get deleted as "duplicates". Pages targeting DIFC, DMCC or RAKEZ audiences look similar to a developer and get merged in a "content cleanup". But they capture distinct, high-intent B2B searches — company setup, corporate services, banking. We defend the pages that rank and carry commercial intent.
Ramadan timing turns recoverable dips into disasters. The UAE's peak ecommerce window runs through Ramadan and Eid. A migration launched in February that needs six weeks to stabilise is recovering through your best trading weeks. We schedule launches around your commercial calendar — and say no to dates that do not work.
BNPL and WhatsApp paths break silently. Tabby and Tamara widgets misconfigure without visible errors, and WhatsApp click-to-chat — the UAE's default business channel — gets dropped in redesigns. Both failures look like a traffic problem until someone checks the actual conversion path. We QA the full journey on staging.

SEO migration is managing the search-visibility risks of site changes: redesigns, platform moves, domain changes or HTTPS switches — keeping rankings and traffic intact through redirects, QA and monitoring.
Quoted per project in UAE dirhams (AED), based on site size and complexity. Multi-currency ecommerce replatforms sit higher. Fixed fees are quoted upfront — it is far cheaper than recovering lost traffic afterwards.
In the run-up to Ramadan. Recovery from even a clean migration takes weeks, and doing that through your peak trading window multiplies the cost of every issue. We plan launch dates around Ramadan, Eid and the Dubai Shopping Festival.
Only if it is configured and tested. Tax settings are one of the most commonly misconfigured elements in UAE replatforms — prices rendering VAT-exclusive or in the wrong currency. We verify pricing, VAT display and price schema on staging before launch.
Yes. We audit both language versions of every template — heading structure, meta, hreflang and internal links. UAE sites live or die on getting the bilingual setup right.
Yes — traffic recovery is a regular engagement. We diagnose what broke (usually redirects, templates, pricing config or content loss) and rebuild systematically.
